Welcome to the Little Blue House in Mt. Washington, CA! A cute and cozy mountain retreat, perfect place for an amazing person or couple that love nature yet desire to be close to city for its glorious amenities. I have been living here myself for one year with my partner and it has been a joy. House was built around the 1930s, yet i renovated the interior and exterior about two years ago. I take special pride in the courtyard as Im very happy with out it turned out, it is visually private. Living here has allowed me to figure out all the kinks of the old home and make it up to date! The bedroom is a double height space with a loft in it, lots of light and feels very expansive to be in. The middle room is a flex space, we decided to put work tables and love to use it for creative office space . The kitchen connects nicely allowing it to feel very close to the rest of the home. We have cooked a lot of great meals here. The area is filled with lots of birds and other animals, making it feel distant from the city at times. Best of both worlds. The neighbor hood is really nice, everyone is super friendly and fun. I have loved living here and am excited to share this property with someone else! Not doing any in person walk throughs, though future tenant will be able to walk through the place before signing a lease! Here is a video walkthrough i created (copy and paste link) I have some furniture items I am open to leave here if you like at no extra charge - we can talk about that later Smoking Cannabis is allowed inside the property, please keep all tobacco outside There is no central HVAC, I have a new gas heater installed in the middle space and I will leave a portable AC. Since the house is set in the canyon it stays relatively great temperatures most of the year. On extremely hot days, the ac helps a lot and on very cold days the heater does the trick for the middle room There have been cats living in this property during my time here Parking is easy, 99 percent of the time park directly out front. 2 cars fit great. On Tuesday mornings, garbage day is very noticeable as the trash gets picked up right outside the house I am ok with you painting the inside of the house, as long as you paint it back. Hang whatever you like on the walls as long as you patch it up! Playing music in the house has been very comfortable, I am a music lover and living somewhere without neighbors who complain has been very nice! Occasionally we hear other neighbors playing music and even singing! its a good vibe. Of course if you are going to blast music, still need to be respectful and i ask you close the windows ect.. All and All i have loved living here, and am excited to share it with you!
