AvailableFebruary 15. Rental of this fully furnished apartment is available for a short period (2-6 months). Utilties including WiFi are included. Located on the shoulder of Lake Washington near Seward Park, not far from Columbia City, this furnished in-law apartment has a huge (about 22 by 18) living room with picture window, fireplace, and a great view. The floor is tiled in the 1950's style, covered by a wool rug in a light olive green; the furnishings include two couches (one convertible to a bed for guests) and a desk. Pictures on the wall, some books, artifacts here and there. The kitchen, three steps up, is also big, about 15-foot square and is fully furnished with set of Fire King dishes, pots and pans, silverware, Cusinart coffee maker, food processor, blender, toaster, microwave, as well as standard range/oven and refrigerator. There is no dishwasher. The bedroom is to the side of that, regulation size--maybe 12 foot square, with a closet and built-in cabinet, queen-sized bed. There are a ton of cabinets in the kitchen and the wide hall that takes one to the bedroom. The 3/4 bathroom has a stall shower only, no bath. It is not AirBnB gussied up, but a comfortable pretty large apartment. The apartment opens onto a patio that has an expansive and quiet view of the lake and gardens nearby and our garden . It's two blocks from the #50 bus, which takes one to Light rail; and a comfortable 15-minute walk to Columbia City and the PCC. The Both Ways Cafe and Flying Squirrel Pizza are two blocks away. Peaceful and yet close to lots. Seattle lake living. The lake is 1 blocks from the door. Perfect for walks, biking, kayaking. My ideal tenant is someone reasonably quiet. If one likes to garden, all the better. Here's more: A washer/dryer on premises ($4 per wash/dry load to be paid as you go), as is the landlord (me). This is its own apartment. I'll be living upstairs. I am not an early-to-bed person, so there is upstairs activity til 12:30 or so. But not a lot. Since I live in the place, I'm looking for someone I like and I hope you are, too. Parking is easy on-street. Mostly a single family area, so plenty of place to park. Utilities- water sewer, trash, electric, wifi (as long as it is not used by a gamer and disables me) are paid by landlord. No granite countertops and gym, just a comfy, home-type atmosphere. Pet could be allowed with references.
