The entire home has been completely renovated from the studs and has not been lived in yet. Everything is brand new. All stainless steel appliances are electric. Washer dryer is located on the second floor. The hardwood floors are reclaimed, varied width pine. Front windows are wood, handmade to match original, historic 2-over-2 style from 1890's. The home was restored in compliance with Baltimore's Historic Tax Credit program, CHAP. 2 large skylights (primary bathroom & upstairs hallway) are hip-vented and can be opened from below to create natural air flow. Home is south-facing with tons of natural light throughout the day and is on a well arbored street with several old-growth oaks. Station North, the local neighborhood offers easy access to Penn Station (6 blocks door-to-door) for AMTRAK and the MARC train. Hopkins shuttle also departs from Penn. Neighboring residents are mostly families, homeowners and long term tenants. Walkable food options include Foraged, Alma Cocina, Tapas Teatro, The Guilford Hall Brewery and my personal favorites La Comptoir du Vin and Royal Blue (food + vibes). Club Charles is a great scene. The Charles Theater, The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Greenmount Cemetery, Open Works and all that MICA and University of Baltimore have to offer are walking distance. I am a local landlord who is invested in being accommodating and responsive. Leaseholder is responsible for all utilities including water, internet, electric, and gas (hot water heater is only gas appliance). Would prefer 1 to 2 occupants, no more than 3. 1 year lease to start with. Would like to offer longer lease option in year 2 if agreeable to parties. No subletting please. As a dog owner I can accept a pet but would like to evaluate the situation before offering a lease. My concern would be centered around protecting the floors. For cat owners a litter box could potentially be placed in the basement which is unfinished but usable.
