Shared bathroom with young professional. Preferred 6 month contract (up to 12 months possible). Ideal for a university student or professional. Non-smoking house and property. You'll have one dedicated parking spot in the driveway. The current room photo has 2 twin beds; Now there is one twin bed and one desk and chair. Just ask for a photo! PETS The house has 2 cats and 1 dog (all friendly) but they don't go into your room and are mostly upstairs. We will consider pets on a case by case basis though we are not leaning toward this option at present. HOUSE & BATHROOM The house has two levels. The lower level is spacious and welcoming with its own kitchen, dining area, etc. We rent two bedrooms out of this lower level. We are mostly in the upper level but also use the lower level for some things. The bathroom is shared with the other lower-level renter. House has A/C, central heat, and ceiling fans. KITCHEN, AMENITIES, ETC. Guests will have access to the kitchen, including microwave, stove, fridge, and basic dishes. You'll also have access to shared living spaces. Wifi and utilities included; in-unit washer/dryer. LOCATION Our 1916 home is located across from a beautiful historic elementary school and historic Eastwood Church which has been restored as Sanctuary Lofts. The home has original hardwood floors throughout, walls of windows, and unique character. U of H: 7 minute drive Rice U: 12 minute drive Downtown: 5 minute drive Light rail station: 7 minute walk Home is a quick walk to a Kroger grocery store, some cafes, bars, and Mexican bakery, all on tree-lined streets. Many other bars and restaurants are accessible by light rail, car, or bike.
