Some furnishings are available and included in the price of the rent if desired, however, an additional damage deposit may need to be included based on which furniture the tenants would like to keep. (bedroom sets including a very nice king bedroom set/dresser in the master bedroom, sectional couch, kitchen table, wall mounted tv) This is a really cool house with some great character. It is an old home but is in pretty good shape. There are some beautiful finishing details, interior exposed brick, original oak hardwood floor from the 30's, spiral staircase down to a basement storage area. The house is in a centralized part of town; minutes from hospitals, schools, walking distance to downtown. City utilities to be paid by tenant. Gas and Xfinity internet will be provided by landlord. There is a basement apartment that we will stay in from time to time when we are not up at our other place. The basement apartment has it's own private yard and private entrance so we will be able to come and go without being noticed. Pets are negotiable but dogs will need to be kept off of the turf, there is a good-sized dog run/kennel on the north side of the house. An additional damage deposit will be required for dogs. A tenant with skills/tools to do any upkeep or maintenance on the home/property could be "traded" for reduced rent. 1 year lease would be ideal but shorter terms would be considered with the right fit. We are going to be selective and take our time to find the tenants who will be a good fit and treat the home like it is their own.
