*Please note that this is faculty housing and we are only permitted to rent to UCSB faculty, staff, and visiting scholars.* I am a professor at UCSB who is away on leave until September 2025. We are renting our furnished 2 bedroom/2.5 bath townhouse (1,250 square feet) from January 1st, 2025 through September 1st, 2025. We would like to find renters who can stay this whole time, but would consider a shorter stay, if necessary. The rent is $3,500 per month, not including utilities. The townhouse is part of the UCSB Ocean Walk complex on North Campus. The Ocean Walk complex is conveniently located near campus and is walking distance from the beach. Our home is one of the "Carmel" units. We are closing on the home in December and will be furnishing it then, so everything will be brand new. We are purchasing quality furniture. The main bedroom will have a king bed, two side tables, and a dresser. The living room will have a sectional and side table. The dining room will have a table and four chairs, as well as two stools for the kitchen island. The downstairs bedroom will have a pullout sofa, desk, and desk chair. We will also include linens, dishware, and kitchenware. Other amenities include an in-unit washer dryer and a 1-car garage and second designated parking space.
