You can also take a short stroll along the Mississippi river to a classic dive bar "Old Arabi Bar" with great live music throughout the week (pre-COVID)...Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center has recently moved from a decade long location on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard to Old Arabi just few minutes on St Claude, located right next door to famous glass casting Studio Inferno this is yet another amazing culture & Arts addition to the area... with daily screenings / live music / art exhibitions. (pre-Covid) The Holy Cross neighborhood sits on a high ground near the river that was once part of several riverfront plantations.
