This space is a personal light filled upstairs retreat with a comfortable bedroom, dedicated work space, a living area, and stylish bathroom all to yourself. This space is all yours and completely private. If you are a fan of cooking you also have shared access to our lovely eat in kitchen. Because this is an upstairs space in an older home it does not have a thermostat for temperature control. The space is supplied by the forced air HVAC system of the house. There is a portable heater and A/C unit. The space stays warm in winter and the A/C unit keeps it a reasonable temperature in the summer. The space also has some areas of low head room because of the style of roof. We are 2 blocks from the FX2 bus line, Line 14, and Line 71. We offer a regular bike for your use as well. We are centrally located and very close to most of the Portland hospitals. We are less than 15 minutes from Kaiser Gateway, Adventist Hospital, and Providence Portland Hospital on Glisan Street. We are less than 20 minutes from OHSU, Legacy Emanuel Hospital, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, and Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital. And we are less than 30 minutes from hospitals located from Salmon Creek in Washington to Oregon City South of Portland and Beaverton to the West. Parking is on street only in a first come first served manner. No smoking or vaping indoors. Guests are welcome to smoke, vape, or use cannabis outdoors away from doors and open windows. No candles or open flames of any kind indoors. Absolutely no pets. All guests must pay for a background check and will have to provide up to one year of employment history and/or current proof of employment. Guests must be able to prove that the rent is no more than 30% of their gross earnings. The lease will be month to month and absolutely no longer than a total of one year. It is the guest's responsibility to clean their living areas regularly and to leave the property in as good a condition as it was found.
