Hello! Until recently, I was a graduate student at Montclair. Due to a serious family matter, I needed to withdraw, and I need to move back home. The only way I can get out of my lease is by finding a new tenant to move in. The apartment is at Brookdale Gardens, about 10-15 minutes off of the Montclair University campus. It's a nice little first-floor apartment, good for one person living alone or two people that don't mind sharing a room. It's a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. There's a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, and a sink in the kitchenette. All hardwood flooring, and there are built-in drawers in the bedroom. I get very nice indirect sunlight throughout the day. The bathroom was recently redone, it looks very nice. Laundry is located in the basement of the building. The entire apartment complex is situated as a long cul de sac, and there is parking both along the street and in parking lots in the complex. The rent is $1060/month, heat/hot water included (pretty cheap for the area). Tenant pays for gas/electric. My utilities have averaged about $15-20/month. Pets ARE allowed. My neighbors are all super nice, everyone keeps to themselves but will offer a smile and a "good day" whenever you see them. I feel very safe in the complex. This is NOT a sublet; you will need to apply through Brookdale Gardens. If you have any questions or you want to come see the apartment, please shoot me a message (email preferable)! It'll be available by November 1st. Heat/hot water included in rent. Tenant pays gas/electric (monthly average for current tenant: $18/month).
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
