The area behind the river is wooded so you can just enjoy the view. There is a launch nearby to join in on the boating or jet skiing action and a 20x30 foot dock on the property. A boat lift is available. We are not in a 'no wake' zone and you can enjoy hours of entertainment watching skiers and wake boarders zip by. Navigate your boat through the River to St. Louis Bay and out into the Gulf to Cat Island or Ship Island. Fishing areas are abundant. Our raised home was completely rebuilt in 2006 and has 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds and one bathroom upstairs. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room.The master bed has a 3' foam top. There is a 52' flat screen TV with Cable TV and a DVD player surrounded by a sectional sofa and easy chair. Tile floors and counter tops and stainless steel appliances are features of the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy swinging on the large covered porches upstairs or downstairs. The large deck upstairs also has a gas grill and dining table. Downstairs is an additional bathroom, covered carport, screened room and storage room with full-size washer and dryer (this area is not included in the square footage). There is also another large dining table and chairs and several comfortable rocking chairs. 'The Steamer' is just a few minutes away by boat. Nearby are Restaurants, Shopping and Beaches. Both the Silver Slipper and Hollywood Casinos are a short drive away. Gulfport is a 20 minute drive with an Outlet Mall, Gulf Islands Water Park, and Charter Fishing. New Orleans is an hour's drive. The restaurants are legendary as well as the French Quarter, the mansions viewed from the streetcar on St Charles, and Bourbon Street. Take a stroll along the mighty Mississippi and have beignets and coffee at Cafe du Monde. Harrah's Casino provides gambling and entertainment. Family attractions include the Audubon Zoo, the Aquarium, the Insectarium and the Children's Museum.
