Hello future roomie, We are looking for a new housemate to share our 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath house in SE Portland, (almost to Clackamas). When we have a full house, we have a total of 4 adults in the home. (Sorry, no couples.) The room is fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, dresser, TV, and desk. Everyone in the house has their own private room, but you will be sharing a bathroom with 2 other roommates. Rent is a month-to-month contract, but we prefer long-term tenants. Rent is a flat $700/mo., and all utilities are included. (electricity, water, trash, sewage). Also included are high-speed internet wi-fi, as well as access to a variety of streaming services. We have Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Disney +, HBO Max, Apple TV, and Curiosity Stream. Bulk items from Costco such as laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are also provided at no additional cost. We have a small yard with room for you to garden if you wish, as well as a little storage space in the garage if you need it. There is room for each housemate to park 1 vehicle in the driveway. Guest or additional vehicles will have street parking only. We currently have a young German Shepherd in the house, and she's not socialized with other pets in the house. For now, we're not allowing any new (uncaged) pets, but it's a possibility in the future. We're a pretty low-key household with a variety of work schedules, ages, and genders. We are respectful of each other's things and conscientious of the fact that we share space with others. We keep shared spaces clean and have a rotating cleaning schedule. (Cleaning up after yourself is VERY important This has been the number one source of tension in the house with previous roommates.) We often just see each other in passing, but we also sometimes watch movies together, share dinners, and just hang out. I ask that roomies give me as much warning as possible if they are considering moving out. I also require that all roommates take care of the home, and help keep the environment safe. We only invite people over that we know and trust to not bring drama into the house.
