This is a 2- bedroom in a small apartment building with only 5 other units in a great residential neighborhood in the North part of Clay Center. The apartment has been textured walls and has tiled floors, tiled counters and a tiled tub surround. There is an eat-in kitchen and the apartment has large closets in the bedrooms with another huge wall of storage closets off the living room in the hallway. The bedrooms are good sized. There are also washer and dryer hook-ups. Washer and dryer are available to rent if needed for $50/month. There is off-street parking as well as a common area in the basement so a storm shelter would be available in the case of a tornado. A deposit equal to the rent is required. Renters insurance is required. Pet(s) would be considered as long as they are over a year old and not a vicious breed. Pet rent, typically $35/month, for an approved pet plus a pet deposit/pet fee (half the rental amount plus pet rent) would apply. Half is refundable. Call for details. Clay Center is a wonderful small community about 35-45 minutes from Fort Riley, Junction City and Manhattan. Clay Center has everything you need located right in town. A wonderful place to raise a family or to just get away from the Junction City/Fort Riley/Manhattan area. Clay Center has a nice, free renovated public zoo, a public and private golf course as well as a wonderful new park that was put in a few years ago. And our brand new water park opened several summers ago! This apartment should have no problems passing military inspection if you need it inspected as these apartments have always passed.
