01/26/2026 - This property is rented. Please do not send anymore inquiries. Hi, I'm Max. I've owned this 2 Family building since 2022. I live on the 1st floor and am renting out the 2nd floor, a sun-drenched 2 bed with views of Manhattan. We are next to a cemetery at the top of a hill, surrounded by small homes and parks, so it is peaceful and quaint. We are at the intersection of Maspeth, Middle Village and Ridgewood. I've listed this apartment once before in 2022. The previous tenants stayed for 3 years and were a couple. They loved the neighborhood so much, they moved down the street, where they got more space for their large dog. I, too, love this neighborhood and I hope that you do too. My immediate neighbors are very friendly and we help each other with packages, snow, and hello's. Here are the essentials: - 15 minute walk to the M train Fresh Pond stop (Metropolitan Ave entrance, next to BJ's/Rentar Plaza) - MTA buses just down the street on Fresh Pond Road - NO Alternate Side, you almost never have to move your car - Easy street parking during daylight hours or any time during the weekend - Great little park a few minutes to the north by foot, and amazing Juniper Valley Park a short drive away. - Lots of stores in walking distance nearby like BJ's, a Polish deli, Chunky Bites, hardware stores, laundromats - Lots of fast food options with parking spaces, several of them are new like Popeye's - a brand new hand-pulled noodle restaurant, a great pizza spot just down the street - and Ridgewood is a short drive or stroll just to the south: Valentino's, Baker's Dozen, Mano's, Rolo's, the list goes on "Location, location, location" they say, but here's heart of the matter, the Apartment: This is 2 bedroom, with 1 living room, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. ALL the rooms have been freshly repainted. - The rear bedroom looks into the back and sees the Manhattan skyline - The front bedroom has 3 windows that look out onto the street, with a small nook attached - Both rooms have closets, with upper sections because the ceiling goes to 9 feet. - The apartment enters into the living room - A pair of french doors separates the front bedroom from the living room - This gives you flexibility to make the front room an extension of the living room. Or make the living room a dining room. - The previous tenants used the rear bedroom as an office, and slept in the front bedroom The Kitchen: - Updated with a new floor, new ceiling fixture, new fridge, new microwave, new sink. The stove is only 1 year old. - All stainless steel appliances - Soft close cabinet doors - A nice view, day or night The Bathroom: - Updated with a new floor, new vanity, new shower head, new curtain rod. Other details: - You have more closets on the 2nd floor just before entering the apartment. - The stairwell is lit with a large skylight - Bug-free, rodent-free home 2 Bed, 1 Bath for Rent by OWNER - No Fees, No Brokers $2400/month, you pay electric and cooking gas Available February 1st or sooner 1st Month and Security and a 1 year Lease to move in PETS ARE OKAY - cats and small dogs. Large dogs case by case. There is a $500 pet deposit My small 19 pound dog lives on the 1st floor. NO SMOKING of any kind anywhere inside or near the property. BE CLEAN and be responsible. I painstakingly maintain the property and I expect all tenants to respect it. I only rent to ADULTS who have structure and order in their lives. I am available to show the apartment WEEKDAYS after 5PM, and WEEKENDS any time. Thank you for your consideration, Max
