The lease is annual, for up to two years. It includes both units, where utilities are shared. The basement apartment is a studio with a bonus room. Basement is carpeted, upstairs is hardwood floors. No baths, just showers in both units. Main house bedrooms are small but fit a full-size bed frame comfortably. If you have a queen sized bed, this may not be your first option. The house has a gas fireplace and huge back yard. We are very friendly with all the neighbors, who are all extremely kind and gentle people. We hope that you are community-minded, too. Additional dogs and cats will be considered case-by-case. Note: the yard is not fenced. No puppies please. Since this is our beloved home, the garden will be maintained by a friend while we're out of town and I will be a very accessible as a landlord if repairs are ever needed. We want you to be well taken care of and we want our home to be maintained well, too. If you would like to Airbnb the basement, and you're willing to get a permit and go through the legal process, I'm open to the idea. It could pay your rent in the summer months. But I would you need you to be open and honest about that process, and go through the legal process. Deposit is one month's rent + pet deposit.
