There are many neighborhood and city parks in the area within walking distance, including a planned 100-acre park and swimming pools next to Basha High School. The newly-opened Chuckwalla Park has a covered play area along with lighted basketball court and sand volleyball court. Our particular home is just down the street from a neighborhood park, a very close walk. The neighborhood has a very active homeowners association which coordinates many events throughout the year. It is the best neighborhood we have ever lived in.
