Surrounded by three beautiful historic churches and one urgent care medical center with its own pharmacy. Victoria park, shoppers drug mart, Chinese market, Dollarama are all 5 minutes walking. Great restaurants, the local farmers market and local night spots are within walking distance. Conestoga college at 49 Frederick street in downtown Kitchener is only 6 minutes walking distance. There’s a gym with cable TV, laundry room (card operated), library and community garden. There’s also a party room on the main floor and guest powder room near the common party room. Secured entry for you using a FOB, for your guests you can buzz them in. The building is a quiet building with all one bedroom apartments so there are mainly working professionals. You are allowed 2 pets and 2 people per unit. There is no dedicated parking as infrastructure is excellent so you don’t require a car. All apartments in the building are one bedroom apartments and rent for approximately the same amount. You can park for free on the road, rent from the many single houses near the building or from the city of Kitchener. There is dedicated visitor parking. Building is solid, not the wood-frame ones that you find so many of nowadays. So, rarely will you hear a neighbor, if at all as this is a corner unit. About the apartment: All wooden flooring and additional bonus storage room in the basement which not all apartments in the building have. This is a corner unit. There’s a nice covered balcony and all windows are facing south-east so you get plenty of sun. The view is open as opposite is the parking lot of a urgent care medical center and church. Laundry is not in the unit, it’s on the main floor near the gym and library. Appliances included- Fridge, air-conditioner, stove and microwave. Unit comes with some furniture - futon bed, mattress, armchairs, computer table, chair and storage. Heat and water are included but electricity is extra and may average $25 to $30. Baseboard heaters and air-conditioners are in the unit and controlled by you. The fridge was replaced last year. Walk-in bathtub was installed a couple of years ago.
