Rounding out the first floor is a well appointed sitting room, and a formal parlor with with a gas burning fireplace, the mantle was hand carved in Thailand, and French doors leading to the beautiful Eastlake inspired wrap around porch. Note that much of the wall coverings in the home were imported from Scotland. The carriage house was built in 1993 and has a suite above it with a full bathroom. The woodwork and ornate, period details of the home are exquisite. The home is across from Ballard Park, which affords it spectacular views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains.
