Private fully furnished unit in my town home with your own entrance. I have converted my basement into a standalone apartment with its own door so you do not need to share an entrance or shared living space with anyone else. Very convenient drive to Washington, DC and Old Town Alexandria. Also, this unit is a 12 minute walk to the Washington DC metro system. It comes with everything you need: a private entrance, full furnishings with a bed, a full bathroom, a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, George Foreman style grill, induction cooktop, and a countertop oven. There is also an ironing board and an iron. The washer and dryer are in the shared-house laundry room. The laundry room is right outside the rental unit's interior door that you will have access to as well. While the space is private, the laundry room is used by me as well, but it is right next to your door and the living space is entirely separate. My ultimate goal is to provide this unit fully furnished. I am able to remove most of the furniture from the rental space except the sofa. The sofa has to remain. I am looking to rent for roughly 6 months to a year, perhaps on a month by month basis if needed. This rental is perfect for those seeking a 6 to 12 month stay in a fully furnished unit. Parking is available and there is a large parking lot. However, you will have to park about four or five houses down the row and are not able to park directly in front of the house due to neighbor requests. You will not be towed and passes are not required as the parking lot in general is public. Finally, the unit does not have a separate temperature control and the HVAC is tied to the rest of the house. Guests will not have access to the thermostat and will not be able to dictate the temperature of the unit and the house as a whole.
