The Backus house is a comfortable, cozy cabin in the woods with lots of charm. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and is fully equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, stereo, television with satellite, VCR & DVD players. There's a woodstove in the living room and plenty of seating for all in your group. There are hardwood floors throughout the kitchen and living room areas. Downstairs you'll find the kitchen/dining room, laundry room, living room, full bathroom with walk-in shower stall (newly remodeled) and one bedroom with double bed; upstairs you'll find the other two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other with a king size bed and a twin. There's also one full bathroom with shower stall. There's parking for up to 3 cars and is close to world class skiing at Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort & Homewood Mountain Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe. There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked. DETAILS ABOUT LEASE: 5-month ski lease available beginning December 4, 2026 until May 3, 2027. Security deposit is $3,500.00, total rent is $17,500.00; cable, phone and internet is $275/month or $1,375.00 total. Gas and electric will be transferred into tenant's name during tenancy and snow removal for the driveway is $1,095.00/season.
