Felt like a 5-star hotel with all the extras WiFi, entertainment, comfort. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Walkable, private, and close to everything. The open-concept living area blends raw brick, matte black walls, and warm wood tones, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night in or a smooth transition between work and play. Recover and restore in your private infrared sauna with red light therapy, stretch with the in-unit yoga and weight set, or get work done at the height-adjustable desk before heading to the rooftop sky lounge to take in Charlottes skyline views. The chefs kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and stocked essentials, while the living room invites you to kick back on a massive sectional, stream your favorite shows, or crash into the bean bag bed after a long day. Guests love the free parking, fast WiFi, and full access to the buildings pool and sky lounge perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink. Whether youre here for business, a weekend reset, or an extended stay, Obsidian delivers upscale comfort with a masculine edge. This isnt just a stay its your new rhythm in the city. NO SMOKING: $500 Fee Absolutely no smoking of any kind allowed in the unit. The loft doesn't ventilate well due to the industrial style that we love. Smoke is extremely harmful and lingers for days. Any evidence of smoke will result in $500 additional fee. We had to raise the fee as this is our #1 violated rule. We will enforce this! It really ruins future guests stays. We had guest complain about smoke from guests weeks ago. It is extremely difficult to remove and please use the common areas outside. Parking for Short Term Guests There is parking in the garage, but will charge you $20 a day or by the hour if you plan on going in and out. My recommendation is to park ONE time and push the button for lost ticket at the end of your stay so you will only be charged ONCE for $20. The city is close to everything and be better to Uber/Taxi depending on surcharges. I always weigh the balance of how much the ticket can be versus "Pressing the Lost Ticket", which is instant $20. Example, it charges by the hour with a daily maximum. So if you park for 48 hours it will charge you 2 daily maximums or, if you press "Lost Ticket", you will he charged $20 total!
