The cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is also an upstairs loft with 2 separate sleeping areas. The appliances (stackable washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator with icemaker, and microwave) are all included. It is equipped with central A/C and heat. Also included is the patio furniture (a large table and 8 chairs with cushions) and a plastic storage chest. This is a recently stained cabin and deck (fall of 2022 and spring of 2023) so no maintenance for several years. This cabin comes with 2 private parking spaces directly in front of the cabin. Indoor furniture and other items may be negotiated into the price. The resort's regulations prohibit using the cabins as rental property, such as VRBO. Water is turned off around Thanksgiving and turned back on mid-March. The cabin is still usable during this time because the electricity/heat still work. The annual $8,990 resort fee includes the lot lease, a boat slip, water/sewer, trash service, lawn maintenance, property taxes, and resort amenities including; a swim/beach area, swim dock, kayaks, paddle boards, private boat launch, and live music on the weekends. The resort also offers boat rentals and has great pizza and custard/ice cream. It’s a great lake getaway in beautiful Southern Illinois. The southern portion of the lake borders Shawnee National Forest. The resort is very family/pet friendly.
