I've lived this condo for 3 years & location is just amazing, I'm very sad to be leaving. The condo has tons of natural light (faces West; however, the sunlight reflects off the building & straight into the apartment; so you get light all day!) There is a dish washer & large storage room located in the kitchen, as well as another a small storage unit (same floor as apartment, but located in the storage room) available for the tenant (included in rent). TONS of closet space!! Hallway & Bedroom closets have been updated (see photos). Redline Harrison subway station is a 2 minute walk, Blueline LaSalle station is only a 7 minute walk & Loop trains (brown, purple, pink, green, orange) are about 10 minutes. Tons of restaurants, pubs, parks, mini grocer's all a few minutes away (walking distance). Columbia College is only a few minutes walking distance, Jewel-Osco, Trader Joe's & Target are about 10 minutes (walking), Whole Foods is about 20. Sears (Willis) Tower is about a 15 minute walk. Printer's Row is built as a place to print newspapers and magazines The walls are thick enough to be soundproof. People who work in the office are very nice and friendly. It's not a luxurious / brand new building, but the windows are giant. Wood floors throughout, the refrigerator and oven are updated (about 3yrs). Laundry is located on the first floor, gym is on the 2nd floor (24hrs). Packages are delivered to the front office & there is a security guard at night. There is bicycle storage (not sure the fee), but is available through the condo association. If you require parking, there is an attached garage - parking is not included & is managed by a 3rd party. Owner pays for water & trash. Tenant is responsible for rent, internet / cable, & electric.
