Wonderful three floor house with lots of upgrades available after June 1st. When I bought the house in 2014 the building inspector said "The house was built in 1999, but it feels much newer". Since that time I've made several physical and technical improvements to increase that value and add even more appeal to a modern lifestyle. For starters this home is listed as ~2900 square feet, but that's just the top two floors; adding in the semi-finished basement the total space is closer to 4000 square feet. Check out the photos to find the floor plan--note the actual floor plan is reversed (mirrored) from what is drawn (actual garage is to the left of the front door when looking from the street). Actual house includes ALL the optional elements shown. The main floor is finished with hard wood. The upstairs master bedroom, master bathroom and railed balcony hallway are also wood, and the three smaller bedrooms all have carpet. Do you like fast internet speeds? Forget wi-fi internet, for those that like a direct connection, this house includes CAT5 wiring to all rooms of the house and the availability of Verizon FIOS Gigabit service to the residence. (Of course, wi-fi internet is still provided by your service provider). Are you worried about theft or other shenanigans? This house includes a wired 8 camera CCTV system covering the exterior and all internal (non bedroom) areas of the house. The Nite Owl camera system is observable across the internet through an installed phone app (we liked watching our pets when we were out of town). Both wired systems were installed new in 2017, but I haven't ascertained the viability of the CCTV system in the past few years, so it might take some coaxing to get back up and running if the tenant has not maintained it. Rounding out the new tech features is an electronic keypad door lock on the front door, allowing the use of the front door without the need for keys that can be lost or stolen. The master suite includes bedroom (15'5" x 15'), master bathroom (12'8" x 10'6") and walk in closet (7'4" x 6'), all with vaulted ceilings. The master bedroom includes a nice ceiling fan, the DVR/controller for the CCTV system, and separate cable/antenna connections for television. It also contains the network hub for all of the CAT5 connections throughout the house. Want to discipline a child for poor behavior? Physically unplug his/her connection right here in the master bedroom, and if s/he wants to plug it back in, the scoundrel will have to sneak into your room. The large master bathroom contains an updated tile and glass shower, large tub and his/her vanities. The walk-in closet with professionally-designed built-in closet fixtures. The other three bedrooms are all different sizes: (15'3" x 13'4"), (11'11" x 11'8"), (11'8" x 10'11"). All three include double door closets with pull-chain lighting; one closet includes a custom-fitted closet organizer. Two rooms include highly decorative (and highly functional) enclosed ceiling fans that are remote controlled, the third room employs a simple dimmable overhead LED lamp. All three bedroom are expected to share a hallway bathroom which includes a shower/tub and linen closet. The hallway bathroom had a nice luxury bathtub/shower combo installed in 2021 (not pictured). The main floor includes eight separate rooms with an open floor plan: a powder room, a closet, a mud room leading to the garage, a sitting room/foyer, a dining room, the kitchen, an elongated living room, and a sun room that leads to a deck over the rear yard. The kitchen is gorgeous, with polished granite (maybe marble?) counter tops, thin tile back splash, lighted kitchen island, extended bar space, and nearly new matching stainless steel Whirlpool appliances. The sitting room looks out from a bay window into the front yard and is connected to the dining room by a square archway supported by two lovely white columns. The sun room, directly off the kitchen, is surrounded by windows, is cooled by a lighted ceiling fan, and can be exited through a sliding door leading to the deck overlooking the (small) rear yard. Finally, the long living room is spacious, contains one wall of windows overlooking the back deck that ends with a convenient gas fireplace in the corner that can be lighted with a flick of a light switch. Very comfy! Media outlets in the corner of the living room provide convenient speaker connections to two other zones: the ceiling of the living room and the overhang for the back deck, allowing a well placed amplifier the ability to power an immersive movie experience or a party on the back deck. Do you like a decent garage? Quite literally, I bought this house not because we needed all the space but because I wanted a garage that badly. This one includes a nice plastic interlocking floors, some tracking for tool storage along one wall, and closet-style shelving all around. Keep two cars on the floor (garage will fit a Chevy Suburban!), your yard tools on the walls, and everything else you seldom need up high and away from the floor. The basement is a huge L-shape that roughly matches the floorplan of the main floor above it, but without any walls or other impediments: it's completely open. It's a very large space to get rambunctious or enjoy hobbies without fear of damaging the finished areas above. One half of the L is covered with Berber carpet and the other half is painted concrete. Dark stained plywood and rudimentary shelving cover most of its walls. There's a bump out in the L shaped floor plan for room containing some shelves for box storage or other things you might normally put in an attic, except it's way easier to access than an attic. A new matching Whirpool washer/dryer are in this basement, allowing for lots of space and keeping the laundry activities out of the way of guests. There's also an extra fridge provided as-is for any overflow from the main fridge upstairs. Other than the staircase from the first floor, the only other portal to the basement is a single walk out-door, which leads to the area underneath the deck and the small back yard. Speaking of the back yard, a new stone/paver sidewalk and lower deck were installed in early 2020. Current house has a renter so the pictures shown below are from before the tenant moved in during 2019. Tenant pays for all utilities (electricity, gas, sewer, internet, TV), but owner pays HOA fees (for trash collection). Tenant will manage the property themselves; all service calls involving part failures will be billed to the owner, but all service calls not involving part failures (clogged toilets, mowing the yard, AC duct cleaning, etc) will be borne by the tenant. Painting of walls is permissible but must be paid for at the end of lease at $10/square foot. No smoking inside the house. Payment for additional (agreed-upon) house improvements may be split between the owner and tenant. I do not participate in the housing voucher program.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
