This spacious, sunny, newly painted apartment occupies the entire second-floor of a large, Colonial three-family house on a one-acre lot in a peaceful Burlington neighborhood. The apartment has two large bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen and a bathroom with washer-dryer hookups. All the floors are hardwood and tile. Maximum of two cats. Sorry, no dogs. The apartment is currently being cleaned and painted. It will be available August 1. More photos to come. Please fill out the application before you request a showing. THINGS TO KNOW: The apartment is on the second floor, so the tenant(s) must be able to climb stairs. Smoking is not permitted. We don't permit dogs. We won't negotiate on this, regardless of size, breed or temperament. (Except of course for trained guide dogs, as required by law.) There is off-street parking, but no garage. We have the parking area plowed when it snows, but tenants are responsible for clearing the walk to their cars and for clearing their own parking spaces. The tenants pay utilities. The heat and hot water are electric, and the bills vary a great deal by season. There is no central air conditioning, but tenants can provide their own window units. (We are currently investigating installation of heat pumps.) There are washer and dryer HOOKUPS in the bathroom. Tenants must supply their own washers and dryers. Parking space is limited to two vehicles, and no unregistered vehicles may be kept on the property. Storage space outside the apartment is extremely limited, but we can find shed space for bicycles. Utilities are not included.
