Sitting on a quiet street up Sanderlin Mountain, this 2/2 cabin is the perfect place for those who want some quiet but still want to be close to the amenities. It's perfect for short-term rental or full-time residents. I can share spreadsheets of rental income. There is a new AC, water heater, chimney, deck, railroad ties for the front, whole-home exclusion, new vapor barrier for the crawlspace, a couple of trees cut down, new grill, and bathroom tile work. All furnishing is included except for the artwork and dining room chairs. Big Canoe includes 8,000 acres of seasonally changing mountain foliage, lakes, and streams, and miles of trails. Big Canoe offers a wide variety of amenities that are just around the corner: golf, tennis, fitness, yoga, or water sports. The main floor is an open space with a fully-stocked kitchen–pots, pans, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, cutting knives/boards, dishcloths, measuring cups, and utensils. There is a booth that will seat six and two high-top chairs at the kitchen bar. The living room has a futon, two chairs, a log fireplace, and a flat-screen television with an Amazon Alexa Firestick. You have access to Amazon Prime movie and TV shows and Netflix. There is also a Blu-ray DVD player with a selection of films to choose from in the cabinet below. Off the kitchen, and next to the stacked washer/dryer–is the master bedroom equipped with a California King bed, a full bathroom, and a flat-screen television with an Amazon Alexa Firestick. There are sliding glass doors that open onto the back deck. On the deck, you will find a gas-powered grill, porch swing, a high-top table with four chairs, two Adirondacks, and a chaise lounge. The deck makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse as it is level with a myriad of trees, a pop of the blue sky, and a valley down below. Be on the lookout for Big Canoe’s famous wildlife: deer, black bears, turkeys, and wild boar. To the left, you can walk into the screened-in porch for those summer days when the bugs become too much of a nuisance. Upstairs, you will find a loft space with a double bed, a comfy reading chair, a bathroom with a shower, and a private bedroom with a queen-size bed. The bedroom has an old-school television with a VCR/DVD combo. You have your choice of every Disney movie to watch in their vintage clamshell VHS case. Along with this, you will receive a starter package that includes: two trash liners, two rolls of toilet tissue for each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, two dishwashing pods, two laundry pods, and two fabric sheets. If you are staying longer than a couple of days, you will need to bring extra for your stay. Resort-style amenities at Big Canoe include three 9-hole championship golf courses, eight outdoor & two indoor tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor pool, and two seasonal outdoor pools: Memorial Day - July 31st then weekends only through Labor Day. Big Canoe Marina offers rental pontoon boats, john-boats, kayaks, and canoes. Also, there are miles of hiking trails, a beach, rock-slide, and jeep trail. The Clubhouse at Lake Sconti offers fine dining with lunch and dinner menus, a fully stocked bar, take-out menu, Sunday Brunch, and weekend entertainment. Please note additional fees for amenities may apply and can be paid on-site. Big Canoe is an official Wildlife Sanctuary and as such, each guest needs to respect local wildlife. Big Canoe is home to several species of birds including the bald eagle, quail, and wild turkey. You'll also see black bears, deer, and rabbits. If you'd like to view the home, please call or message to set up a time.
