So utility costs are propane gas and firewood in the winter, internet service depending on requirements (DSL and satellite are available, with bandwidth suitable for remote work), and water depending on usage. There is a well, but it generally needs to be supplemented with water delivery, or you can haul it yourself. For me I bring in about 500 gallons monthly at $150 delivered.
