    What's special

This is truly one of the most unique homes in Denver. The location and architectural details make the sale of this stunning penthouse unit a very rare opportunity. Enjoy views of the city, Cheesman Park, the mountains and the Capitol Dome from your roof-top deck, relax in your private solarium, serve dinner overlooking one of Denver’s premier parks, step out your door to stroll around Cheesman, down to the local coffee shop, across the green to the Botanic Gardens or to some of Denver’s finest restaurants. A truly amazing home! I asked my Sellers to write down the things they've loved about living here....what follows is from them: Serenity - our condo is a sanctuary. We call it the "Tree House". Living here is fun, revealing, but also private. Park - we like living on the park because of its beauty and also because of the special events going on during the summer. It's also a great place to meet cool people. Botanic Gardens - being able to enter the Gardens from Cheesman Park to attend a concert - i.e., being able to walk to a concert instead of driving. Community - There is a real sense of community here. I believe it's unique in that way. We had instant friendships within a few weeks of moving here. We also love being able to walk or ride our bikes everywhere we want or need to go, including downtown and Cherry Creek. And, there's a Whole Foods at 11th and Ogden!!! Condo - the deck is wonderful in the late spring, summer and fall. We were able to see the downtown New Year's Eve fireworks from up there, not to mention sunsets and city lights. I like being above all that is going on around us, but, at the same time feeling a part of it. We also have a strong sense of security in our condo and in the neighborhood in general. Our kitchen, being a square space, functions well for two people who love to cook. There is plenty of space for a large party, especially in the summer when guests can be on the deck and balcony. The steps are great exercise - not daunting at all once you become accustomed to them. We view them as part of our daily fitness regime...it keeps us in shape for our Saturday hikes! It's good to be able to share expenses. For instance, we have a new deck thanks to the HOA. If you're a traveler, it's wonderful to be able just to close your door and leave, knowing there are others around who will take care of the garden, snow removal, etc. while you're gone. The building is quiet, and we are respectful of each others' time and needs. The three walk-in closets are fantastic! Having our own HVAC and having our own laundry room. We like living in a unique space. There isn't another condo even a little bit like ours - it was a custom pop-top by a building contractor who built it for himself, and he lived in it for years. So the materials, architectural features, and design are unique, high quality and special. Look at the baseboard....feel the weight of the doors...check out the ceiling treatments and the lighting. This is a special place. Park the car. Heck....LOSE the car! Walk to everything. Check out the WalkScore for this property!
