The land that this cabin is on is a lease from the Forest Service which is automatically renewable every 20 years. This cabin was built in 1952 and is a rustic hunting cabin at Heart Meadow. There are roughly ten cabins in this tract. This is a small cabin with two stories. The downstairs has the kitchen, dining, living room and bathroom and upstairs is the double sided loft with the sleeping quarters. There is an amazing fireplace and outdoor BBQ pit. This is a private gated area and a wonderful place for family vacations. The cabin is not accessible when there is snow and the main road is closed. This is a central location to a majority of the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park.
