Hi! I have a room in my 3 bdrm/1 bath house. It's right off the MLK exit, if you drive, it is ideal to shoot up Airport Way into downtown or go against traffic if you travel South. The room is medium sized, has some natural light, and a closet. The positives are, I own the place and am not a corporate landlord. You are a person to me, not ROI. I have a big dog (98 lb Rottweiler). She is actually sweet, but you need to accept big dogs (and acknowledge her on entry, just a little pet or smile). She hasn't shown any aggression to animals or people, but she can be loud and intimidating (keeps unauthorized people out too.. if you know what I mean). I'm super pet friendly, I would love to get another dog and get Greta a friend. She did well with my two old cats who passed away last year. What else can I say? I'm in my 40's, I've lived with many people over the years, and I'm a DIY fanatic. I have a pretty good gym setup in the garage (Power-rack, dumbbells, bumpers, treadmill needs work). The place is quiet, the block is quiet, their is plenty of parking. But you can walk to the light-rail, see a game or go downtown and have fun. Kobuta Garden's is walking distance. You get all the amenities of living in the city, and it's far enough to not have all the negatives. IMHO. Month to Month, rental agreement with a lot of negotiation space.
