Nestled in between the 15th and 16th fairways of the Bardmoor championship golf course, 10632 Indian Hills Court was built in 1998 by the homebuilder Hannah Bartaletta. The original owners were a retired couple from up north that had built their retirement dream in Florida. Because they were from up North they wanted to have a 2 story home with the main bedrooms upstairs and a guestroom downstairs. Every window but two has a steel mesh screen made by Crimsafe with safe-escape latches that provide passive protection 24 hours a day from security intrusion and hurricane force winds. Two of the picture windows were replaced with hurricane glass. In November 2019, a brand new 30 year shingle roof was installed in preparation for the 16kw solar system which was added with 48 LG solar panels and 48 Enphase iQ7 microinverters, allowing the house to produce more than 70% of its current electrical needs. In January 2020, two Tesla Powerwalls were installed to complement the solar system and to provide a battery backup generator. In December 2020, an additional 17 LG 355 solar panels were added with Enphase iQ7+ microinverters, bringing the solar system up from 16KW to 22Kw system allowing to produce approximately 100% of the current yearly electrical needs, producing over 29 MWh in 2022. In January 2021 a new smart GE water softener was installed. In March 2023, a Level 2 Tesla Wall charger was installed in the garage to allow for fast charging of electric vehicles. Bardmoor is located in mid Pinellas county equidistant to the beaches and Tampa International Airport. Walking distance to nearby shopping as well as two world class country clubs hosting two 18 hole championship courses, twenty tennis court, and an Olympic size pool for its members. Florida living doesn't get any better than Bardmoor Golf and Country Club. Bardmoor has a historical fifty plus year history, built and conceived by Oliver Bardes back in the mid-60's as his only personal private championship course for him and his PGA and LPGA tour friends who competed here annually in PGA/LPGA JCPenney Classic.
