Furnished 3BR / 2BA Mountain Home Just Outside Salida $3,200/month I'm looking for long-term renters for the main portion of my home just outside Salida. It's a unique setup that provides a lot of space and privacy, with nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of private living space, plus access to a separate 1,200 sq. ft. recreation and guest area. The main home is fully furnished and has its own entrance, three spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, and full kitchen. The primary bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, and the two upstairs bedrooms are larger than what you'll typically find in the area, with plenty of room for a desk or home office in addition to the bedroom furniture. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, with a propane range/oven, stainless appliances, dishwasher, plenty of cabinet and counter space, and a large live-edge bar. Since the home has been used as a vacation rental, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, small appliances, and just about everything needed to move in and start cooking. The home has radiant heat for the winter and portable A/C units for warmer summer days. One of the best parts of the property is the separate 1,200 sq. ft. recreation and guest area. Renters will have access during designated hours to a pool table, ping-pong, darts, piano, wet bar, and a separate TV/lounge area with a full-size sleeper futon. There's also a furnished queen guest bedroom with a closet and a full bathroom in this area. It's a great setup when family or friends come to visit they can have their own bedroom, bathroom, and additional living space without taking over any of the three bedrooms in the main house. Outside, there's a large fenced patio and yard with outdoor seating, a grill and fire-pit area, and beautiful mountain views. There's also room to park a trailer or other outdoor toys, one garage parking space, and garage storage for bikes, skis, camping gear, and other belongings. Additional storage may be available if needed. The shared laundry room is located in the breezeway and has a full-size washer and dryer and utility sink. The neighborhood is a Dark Sky community, so the night skies are pretty spectacular. Stone Bridge and Arkansas River access are also very close by, with easy access to fishing, rafting, kayaking, and everything else the river offers. Salida is just down the road, and Buena Vista is an easy drive in the other direction. For some clarification on the layout: I live in a separate apartment above the recreation-room wing. My apartment has its own kitchen, bathroom, living areas, and entrance, so we won't be sharing day-to-day living spaces. The main house and my side of the property are separated by an approximately 35-foot interior breezeway, and I'm adding another door for additional privacy. Renters will have their own entrance, kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The laundry room, utilities, and some of the additional amenities/common areas are shared.
