Our large yard has a 30ft boat restored, anchored to the rear of the property and made into a guest house. It has a large comfy bed, tiled bath with shower and toilet, dining area, outside living room area and kitchen to include microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea kettle, hot skillet, etc. It is fully furnished and includes linens, as needed. The boat has windows on all sides with lots of light and air circulation, and a hatch above bed. It is in a corner, isolated part of the property with lots of plants for privacy. There is an outdoor patio with exclusive use to enjoy our great weather. We have laundry facilities and a swimming pool on site, for your use. You have the whole boat to yourself in a fenced, secure neighborhood that is close to beach, public transit and Coaster train, parks, library, tennis courts, shopping, restaurants and hiking trails. My husband and I live in the main house, separate from the boat. Due to safety no smoking, vaping, candles or any fire is allowed in the boat. The boat is set up for one person only who should be under 6 feet due to the limited height in the bath area of the boat. We have hosted many students attending the Gem Institute in Carlsbad and with internships from around the world. For more specific information, please call directly.
