Concrete and steel piers are driven below the existing foundation to a rock layer or other solid sub surface. The piers are approx. five foot centers for an even support of the foundation. Along with "Cable Lock, a system called 'Wall Lock" is employed to insure stability of the foundation walls. "Water Lock" is also used where necessary to eliminate any other water seepage. All three systems have a lifetime warranty transferable to any and all future owners.This new construction was built in 2006. It had some foundation issues and did not sell before going into foreclosure. The new seller purchased the property at a cheaper price and spent almost $40,000 repairing the foundation.
