With an eye on sustainability, and a passion for creating opportunities, we believe we can multiply our strength when we do so as a community. This is an intentional community. Participation is what makes us special. We require all residents to attend regular meetings and to perform up to 10 hours of community work each week (this can be very physical, but we can work around limitations). Since this is a bit of a different kind of place and way of life, here is an application that is probably a bit longer than you're used to, but gives us a sense if you are a good fit: No application fee. Month-to-month lease. No smoking in the house. You may smoke outside. Water and trash pick-up are included. Gas and electric usually are about $100 a month. Cable-ready for TV and internet. Not included. Good 5G and 4G reception throughout the property. You may use one spot in the shared detached garage. The property is off a dirt road. We require a pet deposit for large dogs. Any new pet addition must be approved and may require a pet deposit. $1000 security deposit due at lease signing. First month's rent will be pro-rated to the 1st. All community members must complete 10 hours of community work a week. This may be yard work, light construction, gardening, or other physical activities but can be indoors or "office" work in case of physical limitations. The 10 hours may be split among the multiple occupants of this dwelling.
