    What's special

ON THE RIVER, IN THE PARK, HIGH ABOVE IT ALL ... and with views, expansive open city and Hudson River views; you do not get much better than this. Located on the 29th floor of Riverhouse, a North Battery Park/West Tribeca luxury water-front condominium (with indoor pool too!), this extra-large one bedroom overlooks Teardrop Park and features all the luxury touches: high ceilings; central HVAC, in unit washer/dryer, double sink vanity in the primary bathroom along with a Neptune Zen soaking tub and separate frameless glass shower; a second full bathroom with spacious glass enclosed shower; open kitchen with teak covered Italian cabinetry by SCHIFFINI, Corian counter tops and energy star appliances (Subzero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, Thermador gas cooktop and electric oven, etc. ); and closets, lots. As well you have that added touch of exclusivity with only three other units on the floor. Best above all though is the gracious layout along a bank of oversized windows, including a windowed primary bathroom where you can look up to watch the stars during an evening soak. This amazing view hits you when you first walk into the unit through the spacious foyer that leads to the great room. You are then greeted by four quadrants of well-proportioned living and entertaining space, including a corner nook that is perfect for that now requisite home office. A separate doorway leads to the privacy of the primary suite, which has its own hallway and three separate closets, one of which is a walk-in. Riverhouse, with its award-winning architecture and design, has interiors by David Rockwell and a Gold rating from the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED). Green is good but it also helps to keep energy bills down and includes filtered air & water. Full-service building features & amenities include a resident manager, concierge desk, fitness center, bicycle storage, 50' lap pool, playroom, hospitality area with outside terrace, and available attended on-site parking. Pets are OK too! Although Riverhouse is surrounded by water & parks & gardens, there are still plenty of services and amenities close by, including a Whole Foods Market one block away. In the building you have a branch of the New York Public Library and a Bluestone Lane Café. Directly across the street you have the Conrad Hotel, several eateries, and a multiscreen movie theatre. A branch of Asphalt Green, an extensive sports & aquatic complex, is kitty corner north east of the building and steps further you have many other retail amenities such as Bed, Bath & Beyond and Barnes & Noble. Kitty corner south east you then have the entrance to Brookfield Place, an extensive office & retail complex that includes Le District, a French inspired marketplace, and Hudson Eats, an upscaled fast casual food court. Staying indoors you can continue all the way to the Oculus and the shops of the World Trade Center, where you will find Eataly, an Italian inspired marketplace, and soon, the Perlman Performing Arts Center. When the weather is not good it is nice to be able to stay inside. Transportation options abound as well. There is easy access to the West Side Highway and a great bike path beside it, and a Citi Bike station is in front of the building. Or maybe you want to take a ferry. If so, the pier is just on the other side of the lily pond in front of the building. Another option is the Downtown Connection, the only free circulation bus service in NYC. This has stops in both directions right outside the building and it is a great way to explore lower Manhattan; hop on and off as often as you like. Finally, there is a multitude of subway options and most can be accessed again through Brookfield Place, including the PATH, thus avoiding having to go outside if you want. You can even walk as far as the Fulton Transit Center, all indoors. At Riverhouse you have the best of both worlds; you are in the City but surrounded by a calming green oasis.
