Located in the charming Irvington neighborhood, it's surrounded by beautiful, historic houses and spectacular gardens. A stroll through the neighborhood feels like a walk in the park. Plus, the house is within walking distance to grocery stores and the train station. This spacious home features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Our house has hardscaped patios in the front and back, and we use both for hanging out, cooking, and eating. Both patios are landscaped (maintained by a gardener). The patio gardens have their best blooms in Aug and Sept. For grass and outside play, we typically use the field and playground at Irvington school (half a block from the house). Other stuff about the house: - We have many closets and a large 4th bedroom/office downstairs. - We have a finished basement apartment with a queen size bed, living room, bathroom and kitchenette that is separated from main house by a sound-proof interior door. We have used it as an office space, guest quarter for visiting family and friends and as a giant play area for our kids, especially in winter months. - We have super-fast mesh WiFi covering the whole property - We have never had a crime issue on the property, but we do have a couple of doorbell cameras, which you would be welcome to access if you like. - We have an apartment above the detached garage which we use for hosting our families and for airbnb other times. We have hosted the families of nearly every household on the block. We sometimes see folks coming and going. Everyone is nice and says how much they like the space. We'd be happy to walk you around the house or neighborhood on a zoom call if you want to get to know the area better.
