We are a house of professional women seeking a roommate to fill our home. T H E H O U S E It's a lovely brick house located on the edge of Lincoln District and McKinley. We are walking distance from the brewery district, UWT, Top of Tacoma, Dusty's Hideaway, and the Tacoma Dome the perfect neighborhood for walking, bussing, or catching the train. The house has a cool retro kitchen with original vintage tile work and white painted cabinets, washer/dryer, new hot water heater, fast wifi, and plenty of storage. Our yard has established beds for gardening and a furnished patio for relaxing. Y O U A roommate should have a good balance of being responsible, reasonable, and laid back with good communication skills, friendly towards others, and practices good social/emotional/physical boundaries. Additionally, you should have similar respect towards the physical space of the house, including similar standards of cleanliness (no piles of dishes in the sink for days) and regular shared cleaning of common spaces. T H E S P A C E The room is a good size with good lighting. Rent is $525 per month, with a $100 per month utility fee, for a total of $620 per month, which includes water, garbage, gas, electric, internet. The rental agreement in month-to-month but we prefer someone who can stay for at least a year. There is a $600 security deposit, and last month's rent due up front, but that can be broken up over 2-4 months if needed. No pets allowed (sorry!) and we do require a background/credit/criminal check. Rooms are single occupancy only. The shared areas of the house (kitchen, living room, and dining room) are fully furnished so the only things you'll need are for your bedroom, which is unfurnished. No smoking or vaping inside of the property.
