Thank you for your interest in renting our home! Built around 1910, this house has retained much of its original charm and character. We are planning to rent it furnished, with some space available in the barn for storage if needed. Outside, you'll find a nice shady backyard along with beautiful gardens in the front and side of the house. We're located in the "Pocket" neighborhood a friendly, laid-back micro-neighborhood nestled between Woodfords Corner and Back Cove. The house is just a short walk to the Back Cove Trail and Baxter Woods, around the corner from Heseltine Park & Playground, and a sweet walk through the woods to Ocean Avenue Elementary School. We're also about two miles from downtown Portland and close to many great restaurants and Asian grocery markets in Woodfords Corner. The house has three bedrooms, though we're pricing it more like a one- or two-bedroom home because only one bedroom has its own heating unit (this may or may not be an issue depending on your needs). The first floor includes a screened-in back porch, front porch, mudroom, open kitchen, living room, and dining room. Upstairs, there is a large primary bedroom, two smaller rooms that work well as bedrooms or offices, and a small bathroom. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. We're open to 8 12 month leases, with the possibility of extending. Tenet pays all utilities (electric, natural gas, and water).
