A great Eichler with an excellent floor plan, full of light, and a big backyard. This has been our home for last 12 years and we could not have been happier. Close to everything (great Palo Alto schools, parks, libraries, civic amenities, stores). == Master bedroom is quite spacious and has a built-in home office space. The other 2 bedrooms are also very good sized. All three rooms have excellent natural light. The living room and dining is one big combined space and looks out to the backyard. The kitchen has lots of counter space and has another home office space in it. The whole house is full of natural light and well ventilated - we have never ever needed air-conditioning especially as the roof is a foam-coating roof which naturally keeps the house cool during summers. Heating is radiant heating - you have to live with it to really appreciate how excellent it is! The backyard is big enough that we have had several 30-40 people parties in it. Several fruit bearing trees (cherries, guavas, oranges, plums). There is also a stand-alone storage shed. Appliances are all good quality and well maintained. == Although this is a great house for people in any stage of life it is especially good for a young family - the schools are close by (all 3 schools, including Gunn High, are less than a mile away) and there is a lot for the kids to do in Palo Alto.
