My name is Steve; welcome to my newly remodeled three-bedroom condo in the heart of sunny Scottsdale, Arizona! Both of the rooms that I have available for rent are opening ~June 5th as my current housemates are moving on. I am looking to house medical professionals and grad students working on rotation. Each room upstairs rents for $1200 and will share the upstairs bathroom. Or, the entire upstairs, two bedrooms and bath, can be rented for $1800 . Either option will include all utilities. My condo is across the street from the Scottsdale Fashion-Square Mall and is within walking distance to the trailhead of the ever-famous Camelback Mountain (which I can provide a free guided hike up along with safety tips for staying safe on all trails in the area and desert.) We are within walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale, night-life, food, spas and shops of all kinds. I have remolded the entire condo, sound proofed the walls and ceilings, and have installed new windows. This unit is VERY quiet and you will never hear the neighbors! There is a private patio right off of the kitchen (with lots of butterflies) which is great for reading or morning coffee. A heated pool is just 50' away (though there are four to choose from in this complex) complete with outdoor gas BBQs and all amenities. Washing machine is in the condo and the dryer is about 100' feet away in the next building. The condo units are filled with full-time residents and many snowbirds who live here in the winter months. This isn't a 55+ community but there aren't any children running around, mostly professional adults. We have a day bed just off the living room (in a private room) that is open for your out-of-town guests to use. I have just purchased a new property which I will be remodeling throughout the spring and summer. I also run my own pool service business and so these two activities, as well as my group runs, means that I am not in the condo very often except for at night. Riel, lives here as well and we share the downstairs rooms. He is at the house some days, otherwise he is out cleaning pools or working. Other than that, the house is pretty quiet. As stated, the house has three full bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs, the two upstairs of which are available for rent at $1000 each. There is a non-refundable deposit of $300 with a one-month minimum commitment. After one month, if all feels good, we can move to a month-to-month agreement. A background check will be performed. One room has a television (which we can remove and move to another room if you'd like) as does the family room with all furniture included and a sound system. Your room will have a full closet and full-size bed as well as use of the upstairs bathroom and the full kitchen downstairs. Unit is well-lit outside and we have a security camera installed at the parking area next to the unit. Each room is furnished with a full-size bed and ceiling fans. Sorry, but no pets allowed in the unit, we already have one cat. Non-smokers only, please. Please, no heavy drinking and no drug-use. This is a conscious house and our place of relaxation from the days of work. We are looking for active adults with rental histories that are conscious of their noise levels, opening and closing of the doors quietly for the respect of your sleeping housemates and neighbors. Housemates that are respectful of private property and personal boundaries, cleanliness and the space of others as well as the furnishings provided are welcome. We do not use harsh, fragranced chemicals in the house due to allergies so please, no perfumes, oils, highly fragrant cleaning supplies or incense. I am part of a running group and volleyball team so if you have any interest in either, let me know! I love taking my housemates out on hiking adventures if you are so inclined.
