Drive down our quiet, tree lined cul de sac. Open the gate in the white picket fence and come down the 3 flights of stairs through the overflowing flower garden. Step onto your private patio to get to the front door. Once you come into our bright and beautifully maintained ~500 s.f. attached, in-law apartment you'll feel like you've come home. The first room, as you enter the apartment, is the main living space. Big windows on two walls let in sunlight and let you look out at the garden from any seat in the room. A comfortable love seat and chair are available for watching a movie or reading a good book. There is a drop leaf table for dining, and can be used as a desk to work remotely. On one wall is a full kitchen with real size appliances. The kitchen is fully supplied for cooking, from pots and pans, to measuring cups and cutting boards. Tucked in one of the two living room closets is a stacked washer/dryer. The other closet is a small walk-in, with room for coats and cleaning supplies. Down the hall is a full sized bathroom with a low flow toilet and a shower/bath combination. Clean, lush towels are in the hall closet. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed with clean, crisp linen. A generous reach-in closet and full size dresser provide plenty of room for you to organize your belongings. All utilities are included; electricity, water, gas & garbage. A 32" Fire Tv lets you connect to your own streaming video service. Comcast high speed cable internet is included either via wifi or hardwired. The Owners live next door and are very available to address any concerns. The Owners have two happy dogs on premises, but they don't usually have access to the front yard. We are a short walk (10 minutes) from the Montclair Village neighborhood of Oakland, which has abundant shopping and dining; multiple cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and a weekly farmers market. A short drive up the hill is the extensive East Bay Regional Park with miles of beautiful trails for walking, biking and picnics. DOG POLICY; Sorry, no pets are allowed in the apartment LEASE TERMS; Three month minimum term. After the initial term it is month to month. $35 credit check fee is required for each applicant and is non-refundable. This is a separate charge than Zillow. All adults must submit an application and must be on the lease. This is a non-smoking property. Owner is more likely to respond if you actually write something in your inquiry instead of just pushing the button. 3 month minimum. After that it converts to a month to month tenancy with 30 day notice required to move out. This is a fully furnished, attached apartment with its own entrance. The Owners live in the same building. The sound proofing is good, but some noises do travel. Sorry, no pets in the apartment. The Owners do have pets. If animal allergies are a concern please let us know. Street parking only.
