We recently renovated a 1-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment - we did list it previously but were forced to handle unexpected matters. So apologies to anyone who looked into this unit who did not who did not receive a reply from us -- we did not intend to ignore anyone. This particular building is part of a community of 4 buildings (one building at 57 Congers Road, and three buildings steps away on Old School House Road in New City, NY). We encourage everyone to take advantage of living in a community where tenants interact with each other, spend time enjoying the outdoor landscape, by gardening, barbecuing, playing backyard toss games like horseshoes or the bean bag toss game, or just hanging out at the picnic tables or adirondack chairs. The people in our community are friendly but are also respectful of each other's right to privacy together with the right to live in a quiet peaceful environment. This, which is approximately 860 square feet, is located on the second floor and spans both the front and back of the buildings. The unit is bright as it contains two double hung windows in the living room and one double hung window in the dining area - all of which overlook a large red elm tree, a peach tree, a serviceberry tree and a wisteria tree - as well as the garden beds which are in full bloom from spring to fall. The bedroom also has two double hung windows that overlook the community garden and our baby orchard that has two apple trees, a 3-pear tree, 3 paw-paw trees and a chestnut tree. During the warmer months, if you keep the windows open, there is a great cross breeze that the ceiling fan in the dining area helps to circulate. Each room in the unit has been fully renovated. The entry area has hard flooring and an entryway closet. The kitchen has a tile floor, a mosaic tile backsplash, butcher-block countertops and stainless steel appliances. The counters, cabinets and drawers will be more than ample to store your kitchen counter appliances, cookware and dry/paper goods. The living room is punctuated by the beautiful open brickface wall - and is large enough to fit an L-shaped sectional with a large wall for a flat screen television. The dining area has a new LED ceiling light and a huge pantry closet that can also double as additional storage for linens, winter clothes, paperwork, etc. The bathroom also has tiled floors, a mirrored wall, a modern vanity & chrome LED vanity lights , a quiet exhaust fan/and a beautiful, swirled chandelier LED light. The tub/shower has a curved shower curtain rod and comes with with a hand-held shower head that has full water pressure (as you have your own hot water heater). The bathroom is also equipped with an alcove closet that has washer/gas dryer hookups. The bedroom is large enough to fit a King or Queen sized bed, 2 night-stands, a bureau/chest. There is plenty of space for your clothing as there are two large closets with closet storage systems in each. ( The apartment complex is within walking distance of Main Street in New City, New York; New York City bus stop(s); Shop-Rite; DeCiccos Family Market (higher grade grocery store); New City Cinemas, Pete Wheaty's (ice cream parlor), CVS, Rockland County Court, and much more. There is a large on-site parking lot (and a 4-bay garage if you wish to have covered parking - available for an extra parking fee on request), a community garden (spots available on request), and extensive grounds with blooming shrubbery & trees as well as Plum Trees, Peach Trees, Cherry Trees, Pear Trees, Concorde Grape Vines, Blackberry/Raspberry/Gooseberry Bushes (which all tenants are free to pick when ripe). We have a community Barbecue, picnic table with an LED umbrella and Adirondack chairs on site which tenants are free to use during the summer and early fall months. Management is on site, so we are here to handle any issues that arise quickly. For appointments to see the apartment, please text Laura at (two zero one) nine six two; six one six nine). Please leave your name and telephone number and all calls/texts will be returned as soon as possible. The lease has duties for each party so that everyone can live peacefully. Tenants are responsible for electric/gas/ water (the amt. of the bill depends on your energy usage, but from what I understand on average can range from $70-100 (during normal months)
