This beautiful apartment still has the same wooden molding and doors that it had in the 1940s. We just had it partially renovated by installing (i) brand new carpets throughout the apartment, (ii) a new bathroom vanity, (iii) vanity light, and a (iv) hallway light. The apartment also has a large bright eat-in kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. There is plenty of closet space. There is space for laundry machine hook-ups (although we plan to install card/coin operated machines on the lower level within a few months.). The apartment is within walking distance of Main Street in New City, New York; New York City bus stop(s); Shop-Rite; DeCiccos Family Market (higher grade grocery store); New City Cinemas, Pete Wheaty's (ice cream parlor), CVS, Rockland County Court, and much more. The apartment community is comprised of five buildings (four buildings on Old School House Road and one building steps away on Congers Road), large on-site parking lots, a community garden (spots available on request), and extensive grounds with blooming shrubbery & trees as well as Plum Trees, Peach Trees, Cherry Trees, Pear Trees, Concorde Grape Vines, Blackberry/Raspberry/Gooseberry Bushes (which all tenants are free to pick when ripe). We have a community garden and community Barbecues (coal and propane) on site which tenants are free to use during the summer and early fall months. We do not have a large turn-over rate in this apartment community - this apartment is only available because the tenant had to leave unexpectedly. Cat(s) (maximum 2) - are permitted provide that tenant(s) pay a non-refundable one-time pet fee. As for utilities, they are not included. Tenant must pay for electric, water, cable, internet. Gas is shared with 1 other tenant with this apartment taking 70% of the bill and the other tenant 30%). There is outdoor-onsite parking available to all. A garage space is available for an extra yearly fee.
