    Our apartments have 3D tours available online upon request. We seek 1 mature housemate to take over this spot. The existing housemate finished his PhD some years ago and has also completed a PostDoc. The manager of this complex lives onsite in another apartment. Pricing is $1000 per month. All utilities are included, including heat, water, electric, gas, Internet, and use of the free washer and dryer. We even provide the soap! This is a giant bedroom with a huge balcony in a 4-bedroom, 1.5-bath renovated apartment. This bedroom has a new queen-sized mattress. Plenty of other furniture is supplied as well. We can even provide linens on request! The balcony is about 8 feet by 30 feet. There are ample built-in bookshelves and a desk and chair. The first ten pictures above are from this bedroom and balcony. Apartment 2 is located at 811 N. Tioga St. in the quiet residential Fall Creek neighborhood below Cornell. This 6-apartment property is diligently managed by Thomas Ward, who lives on-site in apartment 1. In addition to managing the six apartments, Thomas is a carpenter and is the property manager for our Cayuga Lake waterfront rental home. We also sometimes rent our 811 apartments on Homeaway. This means that our apartments are furnished with modern beds and high quality furniture, and kitchens are outfitted with decent dishes and pans. No peeling teflon or ancient steel pans. The modern kitchen in apartment 2 has large french door fridge with water filter, a huge restaurant-style stainless steel sink and a garbage disposal. There is also a dishwasher. 811 N. Tioga St. was built as a luxury apartment complex in 1903. Apartment 2 has classic hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and modern windows. Our apartments were renovated in 2009 with completely new electrical and plumbing. We have unlimited hot water on demand, which arrives nearly instantly at every faucet due to the recirculation pump, which also saves a lot of water and energy. Lighting is all LED for efficiency, and apartments are kept comfortable with each unit setting its own temperature. We just ask that no one leave windows open in the Winter. There is no security deposit required for this short-term rental, but first and last month's rents are required at move-in. Please note that the building, while it has been renovated and an extra layer of ceiling has been added to apartment 1, is 114 years old. Some sound travels between floors. We don't allow parties at 811, and nearly all our residents are Cornell graduate students and PhD candidates. Fall Creek is a quiet, residential neighborhood with friendly neighbors who say hello as they pass in the street. There are many young children and retirees. Parking is on-street, and there is usually plenty of parking. You do have to move your car across the street each day in the winter. No smoking is allowed, and dogs are not allowed. Initial inquiries are first handled by me, Steve Moraff, the owner of the apartments. I live in Tucson, Arizona and I am a full-time Dad, while my wife is a Law professor. Thomas has managed our apartments and lived in apartment 1 since 2011. Multiple reviewers have given our apartments a 4.9 star average on Google. Showings are handled by Thomas. We have a 4-page, tenant friendly lease.
