Academic year lease, no need to sublet in the Summer! Lease starts between August 13 and early September (your choice). You choose the end date. Every year our apartments fill up with Cornell graduate students, mostly Master's and PhD candidates (and the occasional professor). We accept inquiries from individuals and then connect you with others who are similarly interested in our clean, studious environment. We don't allow parties, and our apartments are a poor choice for undergraduates or highly social people who want to entertain. We know how difficult graduate studies can be and aim to provide the right environment for that. Many of our students are from other parts of the world, and we welcome diversity. There are a pair of two-room fully furnished suites in this apartment. Each has a larger room and a smaller room, and one offers access to a balcony overlooking our courtyard. There is also a long skinny office in the first floor with a full bed on a loft. This is a large apartment, about 1500 square feet. This apartment is fully furnished as a luxury vacation rental, with quality, modern or new furniture and beds. Fully renovated in 2009, this is a townhouse-style home in an historic carriage house. There are actually 5 rooms with beds, but two of these rooms are accessed only through other rooms, so these suites are well-suited to scholars who work and study in their own space. There is one full bath and one half bath. When three graduate students share this apartment, they usually split the rent unevenly. The suites rent for $850 and $900, and the long skinny room is $650. All utilities are included. Washer and dryer (free for residents) are shared with the other apartments (6 in total). Lease begins August 13, and ends at the end of May, although this end date is adjustable if everyone agrees. The start date can also be later if everyone agrees. All utilities included, even the soap for the laundry, lease is 9-12 months
