This is the Blue Room, a beautifully and comfortably furnished room in my home in this tranquil, peaceful subdivision on the east side. The room has a full size bed, vanity/desk, bookshelf, closet with hangers, and 2 small dressers. Your room has hardwood floors, as does most of the house. This is a ranch style house, so all rooms are on the ground floor. You share the hall bathroom with one other person (my roommate, who's in her late 30's). There is also an occasional Airbnb guest (male in his 50's) who works for Spectrum and is here a few nights per month. He stays in the sunroom when he is here. You have access to all common areas except the sun room, which is where my cats stay. You have use of the laundry (washer and dryer), kitchen, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, fridge (of course), etc.! Relax on the back deck among mature trees (you can't even see the neighbor's houses because the lot's so big and there are so many trees . . . ). Non-refundable application fee $40 + $40 for background and credit check. Non-smokers only (no smoking anywhere on property), no Section 8. Available 10/13, $75 off first month if lease signed by 10/2. Entire home is rented out 11/14 - 16, so November rent is $100 off. Lease term is through end of December, with option to renew if all goes well. Background and credit check required. Tenant must show proof of income, and income must be at least 2.8 times the monthly rent, or if student, parents' income be at least 2.8 times the combination of this monthly rent and their own rent or mortgage. Parents must pass credit check and must also co-sign the lease. I will consider graduate students based on their stipend. Parking on the street in front of the house. Tenant is responsible for cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen and bathroom, and taking out the trash and recycling once/month, sweeping front room once/month. Tenant may not put up artwork on the walls until after 11/17, and must only use thumb tacks or sewing pins -- no nails or other hanging hardware.
