This listing is for the main floor unit only. We're looking for housemates for our fully furnished main floor apartment in quiet Waldo neighborhood very close to South Oak Park. This is a fully private unit. Living area includes the furnished living room, kitchen with dishwasher, laundry area, three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Total upstairs square footage is 900. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private half bath, the second bedroom has a full-size bed and the third bedroom has a twin bed and also homes the washer and dryer. House is handicap friendly, but not ADA compliant. Owner's family currently live in the downstairs apartment. Shared systems are the furnace/AC and the alarm system. The driveway is also shared. You will get a dedicated spot for one vehicle in the driveway, but there is plenty of parking right across the street if you have more than one vehicle. There are separate entrances for the upstairs and downstairs units, similar to a townhome, but set up a bit differently than the norm. You will have your own key and keycode for the front door. Your space is completely separate and all locks are programmed to different keys, so you will not be able to access their space and they will not be able access yours. $1700/month for a 3 month lease, $1600/month for 6 month lease and $1500/month for a 12 month lease. Rent does not include utilities. Utilities are spilt based on the total number of occupants in the house (you will split utilities evenly with whoever is living in the downstairs unit). Refundable Security deposit of $1300.00 is due upon lease signing. Non-refundable $200 cleaning fee is due upon lease signing. Applicants MUST be NON-cigarette smokers. Vaping and non-combustable cannabis use is allowed, please ask for more details if this applies to you. Please provide housing references and be tidy.
