The Bentley Apartments is a wonderful 20-unit apartment complex in Des Moines. We are a one-block walk from the beaches of Puget Sound, and a 4-block walk to Anthony's Homeport Restaurant and the Des Moines Marina. There are many shops and restaurants in walking distance of the building. The Bentley has a fully gated parking garage with additional parking outside. We have elevator access to all floors. There is also a courtyard for our tenants to use if they want to BBQ or have guests over for an outdoor event. The unit comes with washer / dryer hook-ups but if you do not have your own washer/dryer, we also provide coin-operated laundry onsite. The unit has all major appliances, and it also has a wood-burning fireplace. We just installed brand new beige colored carpeting. It is ready to move into. The Bentley Apartments is a NO SMOKING / NO PETS building. We ask our tenants to sign an initial one-year lease that goes month-to-month after the first-year agreement is fulfilled. This gives our tenants the opportunity to move out when they wish. Tenants put down a $1000 deposit to hold the apartment until they move in. They pay first month's rent when they move in. We do not require last month's rent. Water, sewer, garbage, and parking for one car in our gated garage is INCLUDED with rent. Tenant pays for their own electricity and cable. Tenant must have excellent credit to move in with at minimum 700 credit score, and they must make 3X the rent. If they are retired, they must show the owner that they have savings to cover rent for one full year.
