Lakeside Village Condominiums are located in beautiful and sunny Culver City, California near the Ballona Creek bike/running paths, about one mile from downtown Culver City, walking distance to the Baldwin Hills scenic overlook, one mile from the Westfield shopping mall, and only a few miles from the 405 and 10 freeways. Lakeside Village consists of 530 units, three swimming pools, two jacuzzies, one exercise facility, a large clubhouse, one gazebo/BBQ area, underground parking, and street level parking (over a total of 1,000 spaces). Lakeside Village has onsite management, maintenance, and 24 hour guard-gated security. Park-like grounds with a large lake and trickling streams with ducks, geese, fish, turtles, and other wildlife. The many trees and green areas at Lakeside are home to a variety of wildlife just outside your window. Lakeside Village is also a pet friendly community. Central heat and air-condition are standard in all units. It is a rare opportunity for a buyer to purchase this condo, because it is the first time on the market since1978 (48 years ago, almost half a century) when it was the first condo sold during the Lakeside Village Phase 3 (last phase) sold out of about 180 condo units. (If you have curiosity about how I could be the #1 to buy my condo during the phase 3 selling, read "The Story of Buying My Condo" under "What I love about this home".) The location of unit #14109 in the building is highly desirable, because you rarely see people walk close by your balcony and windows. If privacy is one of your main considerations in buying a condo. It is the right one for you. (Location, location and location!) If you want to have a tour of the condo, please call me to set up an appointment. (626) 318-2257 James Chun
What the owner loves about this home
The Story of Buying My Condo In 1978 the Lakeside Village in Culver City was selling 530 condo units in 3 phases. The first phase was sold out quickly. I went for the phase 2. I arrived at 7:00 am in the morning and saw a lot of people lining up in front of the office. Since most of the people were first time real estate buyers, they had very little knowledge about R.E. Therefore, three young ladies from the selling office were busy to answer people's questions the whole morning in the waiting area. It was none stop, continued and even passed the lunch time. (Instead of depending on R.E. agent for information, I decided to learn it by attending R.E. school. I passed the R.E. tests and got my license too.) Therefore, I told the three young ladies to go to lunch, and let me to answer R. E. questions for them. Then, they had a chance to go to lunch. In the afternoon, all condo units in phase 2 were sold out. All I could do was viewing some units which would be suitable and available for phase 3 (last phase) selling. In the morning of the phase 3 selling day, I went early at 5:00 a.m. I saw a long line and some people were even camping there. All I could do was, went to the back of the line. At 7:00 a.m. the office door suddenly opened and one of the young office ladies came out and called my name asking me to go in the office. I walked from the back of the line to the front and entered the office. I was told that the people in the office wanted to make sure that I had a chance to buy my condo this time. About 15 minuses, I completed all the paper works of condo purchasing. When I left the office, the phase 3 selling was not start yet. Amazing, amazing and amazing! Lastly, let me use just one sentence to conclude my story: If you help other people, other people will help you too!
