    Old school 3br/1ba North Portland House with a room opening up as of Feb 1st The room: - approximately 12x12 with closet + 2 windows - additionally, there's a shared loft running the full distance of the house for overflow storage and/or space to use for hobbies, etc. The house: - shared kitchen, bathroom and furnished living room - fenced backyard with porch/grill/firepit and small unfenced front yard - washer/dryer and sink in basement - garage/shop area for bike storage and dirty work - directly on Vancouver Ave bus line, and only a 10min walk to the max - Fred Myer, Safeway and New Seasons all within close proximity - near Peninsula Park, PCC and equidistant from the bustling Mississippi, Alberta and Dekum Triangle areas I've been at the house for nearly 18 years and manage/maintain the property for the elderly owner. The home is well-loved, well-worn, and "frozen-in-time" unlike many of recently flipped houses in the area no ikea cabinetry or wood laminate flooring to be found (it's a bit weathered, but has lots of resulting charm!). About you: - looking for long-term housing - gainfully employed and willing to prove it must provide 3+months of pay stubs from your employer and/or your FICO/TransUnion credit score with application - you've lived in other shared settings in the past and know that the financial savings come with compromise. We're more than happy to accommodate specific needs/wants within reason, and expect you to be equally accommodating. - you want a space that you're proud of, and are inspired to take care of/improve whenever possible. - you don't mind pitching in to help with occasional maintenance of the yard (note: you're welcome to garden if so inclined) - you consider yourself cleanly/tidy, but understand the ebbs and flows of life and can roll with temporary inconsistencies - you don't have tons of furniture that can't fit in your room or the loft (RE: I have a totally blind dog, and have eliminated obstructions in common areas because she's "mapped" the space - any new/hard/large objects that are out of place create issues to her navigation of rooms)
